Maurizio Cordova, Board Chairman / CEO
Mr. Cordova is a technology and mining entrepreneur from Lima, Peru. He is the founder and creator of SIGAL, the leading environmental, health, and security management software package for the mining industry. Mr. Cordova is the founder of MASGLAS Limited and AURYN Mining Chile, SpA, companies established in Chile to capitalize on the downturn in commodities and consolidate several different projects. Through his efforts AURYN consolidated the Altos de Lipangue mining district, a very promising greenfield project less than 40km from Santiago, Chile, that was fragmented for over 41 years and is now being explored and put into production.
Mr. Cordova is also the majority shareholder of EGM Colombia, a gold producer in Antioquia
Mark Dingley
Mark Dingley is a board-level senior leader with a background in mining and on-shore/off-shore oil & gas industries. He has demonstrated increasing levels of technical, financial, and decision-making authority and has accumulated extensive experience working with government bodies up to and including heads of governments and heads of states. Mark is a published author and served as the President of Africa Oil (Ethiopia) and Vice President of Operations at Africa Oil Corp. He has also held several executive positions at Talisman Energy, where he was responsible for exploration activities in the Middle East and Latin America. Mark is a certified UK Offshore Installation Manager (OIM) and an associate member of the International Bar Association. He holds a Law degree (LLB) and an Economics Master’s degree from Canterbury, an MBA from Harvard Business School, and a PhD in Applied Economics from Wharton Business School.
Italo Volante Gomez
Italo Volante Gomez is an accomplished attorney based in Santiago, Chile specializing in Environmental, Corporate Safety, and Mining law. He has held several positions in governmental entities such as the Chilean Health and Environmental Agency. Additionally, he has served as Latin American Legal Director for French Carbon Credit Company, with responsibility for the expansion and development of environmental projects over most of Latin America. Mr. Volante is the President of Auryn Mining Chile S.p.A and CEO of SIGAL Chile, a subsidiary of SIGAL Peru that provides software and management services to mining, oil, and gas companies
Gary P. Goodin, Esq.
Mr. Goodin is a practicing Attorney with over 25 years of experience. Mr. Goodin is the founding Principal of the Law Firm Goodin Legal Group, P.C., located in Indianapolis, Indiana. Mr. Goodin’s primary practice is in the representation of large and small corporations in a variety of venues. Additionally, Mr. Goodin has vast experience in civil litigation. He is also fully legalized to represent and conduct corporate business actions in the Country of Chile. Mr. Goodin has travelled to Chile to review legal issues, and assess mining properties, including the claims located on the Altos de Lipangue plateau. Mr. Goodin possesses Bachelor of Science, Master of Public Affairs and Juris Doctorate Degrees from Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana.Isac BurnsteinIsac Burstein is a resourceful and creative exploration and mining business development professional with extensive experience and contacts in Peru, the US, Canada, Mexico, Chile, Ecuador, Brazil, and Guyana. He has a proven track record in identifying and negotiating the acquisition of prospective claims, developing earn-in JV structures, and evaluating mining investment opportunities. Isac has been involved in four discoveries that became operating mines, over 60 deals from asset sales, JVs, earn-ins, private placements, royalty sales, etc. His skills include negotiating and structuring deals, financial modeling and valuation, and technical due diligence. Isac holds a BSc in Geological Engineering from the Universidad Nacional de Ingenieria in Peru, an MSc from the University of Missouri, and an MBA from Purdue University.
Alvaro Ossio, Senior Executive in Admin, Finance & Strategy
Alvaro Ossio is a seasoned executive with over 25 years of leadership experience in the mining and financial sectors across Peru, Chile, and Brazil. Known for driving financial excellence and operational transformation, he has led large-scale organizations through complex strategic, financial, and cultural initiatives that delivered measurable results.
As Deputy General Manager of Administration, Finance & Business Support at Minera Las Bambas, Alvaro managed multi-billion-dollar budgets and guided corporate strategy for one of Peru’s largest mining operations. His leadership delivered over USD 160M in cost reductions, improved workplace climate for five consecutive years, and enhanced alignment between global and local operations.
Previously, as CFO of Minsur S.A. (BRECA Group), he consolidated operations across multiple sites, reducing administrative costs by 40% and leading a USD 550M international bond issuance that was oversubscribed threefold. His work has consistently emphasized strategic growth, operational efficiency, and high-performance team development.
Alvaro holds an MBA in Finance and International Business from New York University’s Stern School of Business and a Bachelor’s in Economics from Universidad del Pacífico. He is fluent in English and actively participates in key industry associations, including serving on the boards of Minera Las Bambas, SNMPE, and the Peru–China Chamber of Commerce.
